1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the KYLX website, downloading the KYLX Server, or using the KYLX Media Player applications (collectively referred to as the "Software" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

2. User Accounts and Security

To access certain features of the Service, such as remote streaming or friend sharing, you must create a KYLX account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and hardware connection codes.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3. Premium Subscriptions & Billing

KYLX offers optional Premium features (e.g., Live TV/IPTV integrations, hardware transcoding unlocks) billed on a subscription basis (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime).

• Payments: All transactions are processed securely through our third-party payment provider (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.
• Auto-Renewal: Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the next billing cycle.
• Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Dashboard. Access to Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.

4. Content Ownership and Copyright

KYLX DOES NOT PROVIDE, HOST, OR SUPPLY ANY MEDIA CONTENT.

KYLX is purely a media management and playback software designed to organize media that you already own or have the legal right to access. By using KYLX, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you host on your personal server nodes.
• You will not use the Software to infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others.
• KYLX is not liable for any user-uploaded files, videos, audio, or third-party streams accessed through the platform.

5. Third-Party Integrations & IPTV

The Service allows you to connect third-party services, such as TMDB for metadata or external M3U/Xtream Codes for Live TV. KYLX does not endorse, maintain, or guarantee the reliability of any third-party feeds or API endpoints. If your external IPTV provider experiences downtime, KYLX cannot provide support or refunds for those third-party failures.

6. Software License

KYLX grants you a personal, worldwide, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the Software provided to you by us. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as provided by KYLX, in the manner permitted by these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KYLX, its affiliates, and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, your right to use the Premium Services will immediately cease.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and/or displaying a prominent notice on your account dashboard. Your continued use of the Service following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
